Description:
Delicate pink. Fruity aromas of raspberry and strawberry on the nose. Fresh, fruity palate with lively acidity.

Grape variety:
Pinot Noir - Alto Adige DOC

Production area:
Several vineyards in the municipality of Appiano. South, south/east, south/west exposure. Soils composed of morainal deposits and gravelly soils with limestone content.

Vinification:
Saignée method. Fermentation and ageing in steel vats.

Food pairing:
This refreshing rosé wine goes wonderfully well with chopping board snacks, but also with pizza, pasta or even guinea fowl breast stuffed with wild garlic. At cooler temperatures it is at its best with fish dishes.

Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.

Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

In particular, the vineyards in and around Appiano offer the ideal conditions for varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Yellow Muscat, and Pinot Noir.
But for well-structures red wines, outstanding small vineyards are found at lower elevations and along the Wine Route. The mild and sunny climate forms the basis for the unique quality of the wines.
