Grape variety:
100% Nebbiolo (called Spanna in the area) - Nebbiolo Rosato Colline Novaresi DOC
Production area:
Nebbiolo grapes come from the Breclema, Carella, Valera and Baraggiola vineyards. Moraine gravel mound, rich in minerals at 280 - 310m above sea level. (Colline Novaresi).
Vinification:
After just one night of contact with the skins, the must with its beautiful pink color was separated from the skins. The slow fermentation at controlled temperature was subsequently started. The wine was left to rest at low temperatures for natural stability. Bottling takes place on the following February.

An ideal companion for all meals, from meat to fish, pasta dishes, salads, risotti.

10 - 12°C.

We are located in Ghemme in Upper Piedmont, an area that has been known for fine wines for more than two millennia. On one side the Alps with the imposing massif of Monte Rosa and Valsesia. On the other side the expanse of the Po Valley with flat horizon and rice fields. In the middle, the moraine, a fascinating triangle of hills that includes so much history and geological heritage. And from these hills, the realm of the roots of Nebbiolo, is born the reality of the old vineyards of Cantalupo. A reality linked to the love of this land and its historic wine, fully aware of its great potential. The estate now has 35 hectares of vineyards. Over the last 45 years, the original nucleus has been enriched with new vineyards spread across the most suitable areas of the municipalities of Ghemme and Romagnano Sesia.
