Description:
Intense dark red colour with violet nuances; the aroma is reminiscent of blackberries, blueberries, violets and with an aftertaste of spices. Its taste is rich, versatile, persistent and mature.

Production area:
The vineyards are located on the foothills of the Marcellise Valley at an altitude of 100 metres above sea level. The exposure is from north to south on a gentle slope. Calcareous soil with little clay and stone.
Vinification:
From grapes partly harvested and dried for about a month in well-ventilated rooms, partly harvested and immediately crushed; after fermentation, the wines obtained are aged for 30 months in Slavonian oak barrels, then blended and bottled.
Food pairing:
Pairs well with red meat and game.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

The Marion winery is located in the middle of the unspoilt Marcellise Valley, east of Verona. The corporate philosophy of the winery includes the balance between nature and people. The vineyards - mostly raised in the Guyot system - are home to the classic Valpolicella grape varieties, including Rondinella, Corvina and Croatina. In recent years, however, Cabernet Sauvignon and Teroldego have also been planted.
