Carmenere is a grape variety of French origin that has found in the Berici Hills area the ideal place to give life to unique wines with an intriguing taste-olfactory heritage. In this hilly area to the south of the province of Vicenza, characterised by a limestone strip covered in red soil, originating from an ancient bradyseism (a phenomenon linked to volcanism that consists of a variation, positive or negative, in the level of the soil) and a particular microclimate with little rainfall and sunnier summers, Inama decided to begin, twenty-five years ago, its adventure in the world of red wines, with the result of obtaining products of great concentration and finesse.
Vinification:
12 months in used barriques.
Food pairing:
Pancetta and salami with garlic, grilled pork. Polenta, mushrooms, and cheese. With local traditional dishes: Val Liona DOP ham, local Sopressa Veneta DOP, bigoli with duck. With vegetables: Pasta with beans.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.

more than 10 years.
