Caschlin - Mild caciotta with white mold made from organic goat's milk 

The caschlin from the organic village dairy in Prad is a camembert made from 100% goat's hay milk, which is supplied by 4 Upper Venosta mountain farms. This mild soft cheese matures for two weeks in the ripening cellar and is turned daily so that an even white mold can form. It impresses with its very mild goat aroma and smooth consistency.

The name "Caschlin" is a traditional field name in Prad, it describes a prehistoric and early historical settlement on the Agums mountain on the border with Stilfs.

Ripening time approx. 2 weeks.
