Description:
Straw yellow, fruity bouquet with tropical notes like peach and apricot. Floral notes with the fresh scent of daisies. Fresh, lively and harmonious on the palate.

Production area:
St. Justina Schwarhof "Nussbaum", "Lärchenhaus" and "Zypresse" (1988-1990), St. Justina Schwarhof "Kirschbaum" (2003-04), St. Justina Schwarhof "Garten" (2016), St. Justina Kohlerhof "Greal" (1986). Sandy loam soils with porphyry and moraine deposits.
Vinification:
Maceration of the whole grapes for 2 hours. Fermentation 60% in oak barrels of 2 hl and 40% in steel barrels of 2 hl. Ageing for 6 months in the respective fermentation barrels.
Matching:
Recommends itself very well as an aperitif, with starters, asparagus, fish and also with simple meat dishes.
Serving temperature:
9 - 11°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

Vernatsch and Lagrein are typical South Tyrolean grape varieties and are cultivated on 7 hectares of vineyard. International varieties, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon also grow well on the steep slopes above Bolzano. Take a break from the heat and crowds of Bolzano and drive to Sanct Justina along the Rittnerstrasse. The historic winery Loacker, with its modern SKYWINE PAVILLON, gives you a great view of the Rosengarten while looking down on Bolzano.
