The smoked sausages are a South Tyrolean specialty. In the mountains - like all smoked sausages - they are so popular not only because of their typical smoky taste, but also as a practical companion in a backpack. A fine mix of spices gives the harmonious, hearty taste. 


Lean beef and the best pork are the main ingredients of the mildly smoked and air-dried sausages. 


The handy smoked sausages with a dry casing are ideal for snacks and as provisions on hiking tours. Traditionally, the smoked sausages are served at the South Tyrolean Marende and are also suitable as a snack to bite off at any time of the day. They taste particularly good with South Tyrolean shake bread and Vinschgerlen.
