Ein Familienbetrieb, eine geschlossene Weinbaufläche, drei Rebsorten, aber fast unzählige Varianten: Am Plonerhof in Marling setzt man auf eine ganz besondere Vielfalt und besetzt damit eine hoch interessante Nische. Auch weil Winzer Erhart Tutzer konsequent auf Qualität baut: von der Rebe bis in die Flasche. Fünf Hektar Anbaufläche umfasst der Plonerhof in Marling, die Weinberge sind zum Teil bis zu 40 Prozent steil, die Arbeit darin entsprechend hart und entbehrungsreich. Geschenkt, das ist klar, wird einem Weinbauern in einer solchen Steillage nichts. Wirft man einen Blick auf die Weingüter des Plonerhofs, sticht eine Besonderheit sofort ins Auge: Die Rebreihen sind hier in der Falllinie gesetzt und nicht – wie man dies landauf, landab gewohnt ist – quer zum Hang.
