Description: The indigenous South Tyrolean Linticlarus Lagrein Riserva is a dark ruby-red and exhibits delicate aromas of forest fruits and cherries. Fine-grained, ripe tannins accompany its beautiful acid range to give it elegance, persistence and long finish.

Production area: South–, southeast-facing hillside vineyards in Entiklar (230 – 250 m a.s.l. / 755 – 820 feet).
Vinification: Fermentation on the skins in concrete vats followed by malolactic fermentation and a 12-month aging period in small oaken barrels. After a further six months in large wooden casks, the wine ages for another year in the bottle.
Food pairing: Red meat, game, poultry, hard cheese.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential: more than 8 years.

Their aim is to blend the traditions of many years with new and innovative developments. Thus, the preservation of the character of the grape varieties, and of the high quality of the grapes themselves, remain the basic principle of the work in the vineyards and the cellars. Altogether 25 hectares of vines are owned and cultivated by the Tiefenbrunner family. They also purchase grapes from surrounding vineyards with a total cultivated area of 40 hectares. The average annual production is 750,000 bottles, of which 70% are white wines and the remainder red.
