der Blauburgunder hat ein klares, dunkles Rubinrot. Duftnoten nach Kirsche, Himbeere und Erdbeere. Am Gaumen beeindrucken die vollmundige, harmonische Frucht und die samtige Geschmeidigkeit, eingerahmt von feinem Tannin. Elegant und ausgewogen im Aroma, langanhaltend.

Die Trauben für den Pinot Nero Riserva Mazzon wachsen in Mazzon auf 400 m Meereshöhe. Der sandige Lehmboden, die Nachmittagssonne und der Wind vom Gardasee sorgen für ideale Bedingungen im Weinberg. Seit nun schon 100 Jahren wird der Blauburgunder, der diese Lage auszeichnet, in Mazzon angebaut.
Vinifizierung:
die Trauben werden im großen Holzfass vergoren. Anschließend reift der Wein in bebrauchten Tonneaux.
Speisenempfehlung:
empfehlenswert zu hellem Fleisch, zu leichten Vorspeisen, Grill- und Wildgerichten sowie zu leichtem Käse.
Servicetemperatur:
16 - 18°C.

mehr als 8 Jahre.

„Fünf Hektar, Respekt vor der Natur und kein Hokuspokus“: Kürzer – und treffender – als es Kurt Rottensteiner für seinen Brunnenhof in Neumarkt tut, kann man die Philosophie eines Weinguts wohl nicht beschreiben. Eine Philosophie, die auch von der Tatsache unterstützt wird, dass der Brunnenhof in Mazon liegt, einer der besten Blauburgunder-Lagen Südtirols. Die Natur hat es mit den Weinbergen des Brunnenhofs in Neumarkt-Mazon also gut gemeint, was ihr Familie Rottensteiner dankt. Seit 2011 bewirtschaftet sie ihr Weingut nach ökologischen Richtlinien und ist bio-zertifiziert. Auf dem Schuttkegel des Trudner Bachs gedeihen Manzoni Bianco-Trauben und – seit 1921! – Lagrein-Reben, dazu kommen Gewürztraminer, Goldmuskateller, vor allem aber Blauburgunder. Die sandigen Lehmböden, die westliche Ausrichtung, Nachmittagssonne der Gardasee-Wind Ora und kühle Nächte, all das sind perfekte Bedingungen. Sull'accumulo di detriti ciottolosi del Rio Trodena prosperano il Manzoni bianco e - dal 1921! - il Lagrein, cui si sono aggiunti anche il Gewürztraminer, il Moscato giallo, ma soprattutto il Pinot nero.
