Description: Dense and dark purple red, almost opaque, with aubergine-black reflections; rich and complex nose with hints of jam, cinchona, ripe undergrowth, mint and spices; dense and intense palate, aromatically articulated (vanilla, black undergrowth fruits, sour cherries, cinchona, toasted oak), with vigorous tannic texture and a balsamic finish.
Vinification: Destemming and soft crushing of the grapes, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 27-28 °C. Maceration on the skins lasts about 3 weeks, followed by malolactic fermentation. Maturation for 24 months in large wooden barrels, then for a further 8 months in stainless steel tanks. Bottling is followed by a long maturation in the bottle.
Food pairing: Ideal with beef dishes, braised or roasted meats, barbecues, game and poultry or mature cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential: more than 10 years.

The vineyards of the Fugatti family extend in the Adige Valley - along the Adige - from Trentino in the north to Lake Garda in the south. The most suitable vines were planted on the various soils. The vines of the individual vineyards are cultivated separately, giving life to wines of great elegance and with a lot of personality.
