Established in 1846 by Filippo Mazzetti, the Mazzetti distillery has been handed down from father to son through six generations. Every year our distillery in Altavilla Monferrato receives the best Monferrato pomaces to produce many fine single-vine grappas. Obtained from fresh pomaces, distilled with steam stills after a careful and thorough waste of fronts and end, our grappas rest for several years in the finest oak casks and in cherry, chestnut, almond,and French oak barriques until a total harmony of taste and fragrance preserving at the same time the floral and fruity notes, is achieved.
