Description: 
Straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. Aroma expresses hints of citrus fruits, white flowers and rosemary. The palate is fresh and decisive; herbaceous and floral notes, together with hints of hydrocarbons, accompany the clean, mineral finish. 

Grape variety: 
Vermentino - Toscana IGT. 

Production area: 
Vineyards in the municipality of Terricciola (locality of Casanova). Sandy soil, of marine origin and rich in oceanic sediments. South-East exposure 250m a.s.l. 

Vinification: 
Alcoholic fermentation with natural yeasts. Maturation for about 5 months in steel tanks on its own yeasts. 

Food pairing: 
Linguine with clams, artichokes alla giudia. 

Serving temperature: 
10 - 12°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 5 years. 

Bottle size: 
750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt. 

Allergens: 
wine can contain sulphites.

It all began in the early 1960s by Giuseppe, known as Pin, and Lidia Rivetti, expert farmers who dedicated themselves to working in the countryside with great knowledge of traditions but with an eye to the future. 
Driven by a deep passion for Champagne and a desire to get involved again, in 2011 the Rivettis acquired the Contratto winery, a historic Piedmontese sparkling wine producer. The philosophy of La Spinetta is applied to the production of the classic method: new vineyards are immediately purchased and Contratto does not delay in becoming a reference point within the Alta Langa appellation.
