Description:
Pinot Bianco is part of the Burgundian Pinot family and is related to Pinot Grigio and the principal grape of Pinot family, Pinot Noir. As a wine, Pinot Blanc feels fresh and rich yet dry. It has a greenish yellow to light yellow color and light scents of green apple. The wine also shows a complex nutty flavor and hints of green leaves. It feels balanced between richness of texture and bright acidity.

Production area:
Moriz Pinot Bianco is sourced from vineyards planted between 250 and 550 meters on calcareous clay and gravel soils. The name of this wine comes from the patron of a small village above Tramin, Sella, Saint Mauritius.
Vinification:
The grapes for this wine were harvested in small bins and then gently pressed off to steel tanks where the must was allowed to ferment at controlled temperature (19°C) without malolactic fermentation.
Food pairing:
Pairings for Pinot Blanc include light starters, fish or white meat. It also works as an aperitif.
Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.
