Description:

Production area:
All the vineyards are located in the most suitable areas of Barile and are between 450 and 600 m above sea level with a southeast orientation. Among these "Lo Storico", a beautiful old vineyard. The soil consists of volcanic rock, tufa and clay soil.

Basilisco was founded in the early 1990s and immediately strived for the highest quality, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. In a few years the winery became a jewel of the southern wine scene. The face and soul of Basilisco is Viviana Malafarina, who runs the company and takes care of the cellar with great passion under the expert guidance of Pierpaolo Sirch, who is also responsible for the cultivation of the vineyards.
