Description:
The 'Boscobruno' is a Pinot Noir that presents itself in the glass with a clear, bright garnet red colour. The nose reveals a delicate, subtle bouquet, dominated by fresh flowers and red fruits, adorned by a more general hint of spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, characterised by an elegant sip, with a dry taste and well worked tannins; it finishes with a finish endowed with a fine gustative persistence. An excellent label, with which Vallepicciola demonstrates that it knows how to work with balance and harmony on a particular grape variety such as Pinot Noir: truly excellent work!

A few kilometres from the city of Siena, in the direction of Arezzo, lies the small village of Castelnuovo Berardenga. A typical inland Tuscan village, rich in charm, culture and history, nestled between the last gentle hills of the Chianti Classico region and the Arbia river, with numerous ancient mansions and noble castles, surrounded by exceptional vineyards and centuries-old olive trees. It was here that in 1980 Bruno Bolfo, in love with the ancient history of Tuscany, decided to launch the Vallepicciola project, starting with a few hectares and an ancient monastery. Today, the Vallepicciola estate has made great strides and extends over 265 hectares, 65 of which are dedicated to viticulture. The main grape variety is Sangiovese, the true king of Tuscan red vines, flanked by international classics such as Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot and Chardonnay, which have adapted perfectly to these noble soils.
