Josmoarhof Estate
With his young age, Sebastian Tonner joins the new generation of winegrowers who are strongly committed to the idea of producing terroir wines. Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grow in the Pfaffenegg vineyard, high up in the Vinschgau Valley at 580 - 700 metres above sea level. The oldest vines are over 25 years old; Sebastian's father had already realised the potential of this vineyard.

Burgundy vines, in particular, develop excellent raw material on the Sonnenberg, with soils containing a lot of limestone, slate and mica. The cool microclimate produces wines that are delicate and sophisticated, elegant and very juicy. Incomparable, just like the Vinschgau. This is exactly what the wines of Sebastian Tonner of the Josmoarhof show.
