Description:
This white burgundy already shows character and typicality. The maturation in acacia wood gives this Chardonnay charming exotic notes that will surprise even the wine connoisseur. The nose is rich in white flowers, lemon peel, toasted almonds and brioche. Subtle grapefruit notes on the palate that underpin the elegance of this wine. The finish is long and fresh. This wine is gourmet, or more simply: excellent!

Production area:
Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. The Chardonnay used in this white wine grows in the Larrets climate, a very steep slope that is exposed to the winds.
Vinification:
In order to "have fun", Jean-Michel decided to age a tiny part of his cuvée in acacia barrels. Results? Less than 1,000 bottles are produced each year, sold to regulars and a must for every wine lover.
Matching:
Goes well with pasta dishes, salmon, tuna, shellfish, mild cheeses, smoked meats.

10 - 12°C.

It is hard to believe that in this village north-west of Beaune there can be people who interpret their work as winemakers in such a winning way, like the Jacob family. Half of the vineyards that the family owns are located in Echevronne and its surroundings, the rest are divided between Savigny and Beaune. Characterized by a light but precise fruity note, both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir surprise with their silky texture.
