Description:
This Pinot Noir is ruby red with light garnet hues. It has a fresh scent of wild berries. The taste is very balanced, with a good tannic structure, fruity, rich taste and fine on the palate. The Pinot Noir was bottled in traditional Burgundy bottle, with an elegant and fine exterior design. Closing with a glass stopper also makes this product unique and special.
Grape variety:
Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder) - South Tyrol DOC. This Pinot Noir is produced entirely from grapes produced from French clones.
Production area:
Vineyards "Panigl", "Barleit" and "Trifall" - near the center of Kaltern/Caldaro at 400 m - 450 m a.s.l. The hill above Lake Kaltern/Caldaro faces south-east and has calcareous sandy loam soil. Traditional pergola farming method.
Vinification:
The fermentation is spontaneous in open wooden vats, while malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. Maturation for twelve months in French oak casks (barrique - 30% new wood).
Food pairing:
It is definitely an excellent wine, particularly suitable for roasts, game, grilled red meat or raw and beef tartare.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.

Harvests by hand, gently pressing processes, controlled fermentations and the aging process in wood tanks ensure wines of high quality. Since 1999 we are producing red and white wine. The whole production is processed, vinified and bottled in our winery.
