Description: Dark red. On the nose, hints of cassis, leather and delicate notes of cocoa and blackberries. On the palate, very velvety, full-bodied and complex.
Production area: Vineyards in the warmer areas of Eppan, Kaltern and Kurtatsch (250 to 400 m). Gravel and moraine soils.
Vinification: Fermentation in steel containers. Afterwards malolactic fermentation and ageing in barrique-tonneau. After about 1 year blending. Then the wine matures for a further 10 months in steel.
