Description:
this Pinot Bianco shines in the glass with a straw yellow colour and greenish reflections. The nose has clear fruity notes of apple and pear. On the palate, it is mineral, creamy and has a long finish.

Production area:
Vineyards in the ‘Schulthaus’ area above Moos Castle in Appiano/Monte (540 to 620 metres above sea level) with south-east exposure on calcareous-gravelly soils with clay.
Vinification:
Grapes harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation and ageing in large wooden barrels for 12 months. Subsequently matured on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
Matching:
It pairs very well with flavourful fish dishes and South Tyrolean specialities such as Canederli and Schlutzkrapfen.
Serving temperature:
8 - 10°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 8 years.
