Description: 
Intense arnet red colour with violet reflections of Lagrein, complex notes of dried fruits an cherries of Merlot, full-bodied structure and elegance of Cabernet. 

Grape variety: 
Lagrein, Merlot e Cabernet - South Tyrol DOC. 

Production area: 
selected vineyards in the Bassa Atesina region. 

Vinification: 
Manual harvest, destemming, mush fermentation for 10 - 14 days, each variety separated, maturation in stainless steel for 12 months. 

Matching: 
paris well with grilled meat, pasta dishes and cheese. 

Serving temperature: 
18 - 20°C. 

Ageing potential: 
more than 5 years. 

Bottle to: 
750 ml - 75 cl - 0,75 lt.

The Castelfeder Estate Winery was founded in Egna more than 50 years ago by Alfons Giovanett, but since that time, hardly anything has remained the same. “The product line has been expanded, production has increased, the processes in the winery have been modernized, and the market has become more international,” says Günther Giovanett, who took over the estate from his father Alfons and runs it with his children Ivan and Ines. Today, the Castelfeder Estate Winery encompasses 65 hectares, on which 70 percent is planted with white wine varieties.“The focus is on Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc,” Giovanett explains. With the red wines, the concentration is on Pinot Noir.
