Description:
Color: Dark garnet red with purple hues. Aroma: Floral scents of violets and rose petals; fruity notes of mixed berries; spicy cocoa beans; earthy. Flavor: Elegantly full-bodied with velvety and finely structured tannin.
Grapes for the Collection line grow in vineyards in and around Bolzano, which were carefully selected by the head winemaker. The sites are located in the midst of the Lagrein DOC area and yield deep garnet red and well-structured wines.

Vineyards of Gries (Bolzano) with warm and sandy alluvium, at 250 m a.s.l. (820 ft).
Vinification:
Traditional mash fermentation in stainless steel. Big oak casks are used, to give the wine a perfect finish and enough time for second fermentation.
Food pairing:
Perfect when paired with roasts and grilled meat or served with tangy and aged cheese.
Serving temperature:
16 - 18°C (61 - 64°F).
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.
