Balanced, with subtle notes of citrus, herbs and a tart finish. Jefferson was the captain of a ship that capsized in Calabria in 1871. He found accommodation with Giocondo in the Vecchio Magazzino Doganale and created the Amaro according to his ideas. So to say the Amaro importante. Ideally chilled or served with ice, interesting when using different cocktails. Awarded the world's best liqueur at the 2018 World Liqueur Awards.
Bottle to: 700 ml - 70 cl - 0,70 lt.
Description:
Jefferson is a product from the Calabria region, in a country where you can find unique fruits and herbs worldwide. Il Vecchio Magazzino Doganale collects most of the botanicals used by hand, including the IGP lemons from Rocca Imperiale, the sweet and bitter oranges from Bisignano from the family's own plantations, the bergamot from Pellaro, the oregano from Palombara and the rosemary from Bisignano. Everything is processed separately, in alcoholic infusion taking into account the raw material and the season. For this reason, it takes more than 11 months to create Jefferson without ever using artificial flavors or colors. The only filtration is with a linen cloth.
