Description: 
Fresh black cherry puree consists of 90% black cherries and 10% pure cane sugar. No added colouring agents or preservatives. 
Ponthier has selected a sour cherry of the Oblacinska variety grown at an altitude of 400 metres in Serbia. Sour cherries are small and fragile trees that require special care, so they must be harvested by hand when they reach full maturity. This variety offers juicy, spicy and particularly sweet flesh. The fresh sour cherry puree has a deep, intense purple-red colour.

How to use fresh sour cherry puree ? 
All purees are perfect for baking, making mousses, sorbets and ice cream, desserts, cocktails or cool drinks. Suitable for making smoothies and fruit juices. 
Laurent Baron, 3rd winner of the 2014 French 'Coffee of Good Mood' Championship, has created a tasty recipe: 
black cherry milkshake coffee. 
In a shaker or blender pour the fresh black cherry puree (8cl), milk (10cl), double espresso (12cl), brown or vanilla sugar syrup (2cl) and 5 ice cubes. 
Shake 10 seconds or knead 25 seconds.

Ponthier decided to go even further to meet consumer demands and continued its efforts with the creation of the PURE TRACE label, which reinforces traceability by indicating the name of the grower and the place of harvest for 19 flavours. 

And to go one step further, Ponthier is launching the Live Trace project, which allows users to see orchards live via a webcam, accessible by flashing a QR code on the purees' packaging.
