Delicato bouquet di amarene ne sottolinea il nobile carattere. Al palato si presenta con tannini ben equilibrati ed una piacevole corposità. Un vino dal sapore gradevole e di lunga persistenza.

Zona:
L’ uva proviene da un vigneto di proprietà, esteso sul STROBLHOF nel comune di Appiano, zona Pigeno, a 500 metri s.l.m. I vigneti sono esposti verso sud-est. Il 70% dell’uva è stata vinificata come Pinot Nero P!GENO, il resto come Riserva.
Vinificazione:
Macerazione e fermentazione in tini di rovere per 24 giorni con tre rimontaggi al giorno nella prima settimana. Affinamento in barriques francesi dal primo fino al quarto passaggio per 12 mesi, ulteriore affinamento in grandi botti di rovere da 30 hl per 8 mesi. Seguono altri 8 mesi di affinamento in bottiglia.
Abbinamento:
È un ottimo accompagnamento per piatti forti a base di carne, selvaggina e formaggi saporiti. Più il vino è intenso, più i piatti possono essere complessi.
Temperatura di servizio:
16 - 18°C.

Tenuta Stroblhof
Lo Stroblhof è un maso di lunga tradizione vinicola, che già prima del 1600 si trova citato in antichi documenti dell’epoca. Fin da tempi remoti qui si coltivano le viti su tenui pendii dalle condizioni ottimi e si producono vini con uve pregiate.Con grande impegno ed amore ci dedichiamo alla nostra attività mirata al raggiungimento di un massimo livello qualitativo, sia nel vigneto ma anche in cantina. Le quantità piuttosto limitate delle uve raccolte garantiscono un’alta qualità dei vini prodotti. Con le uve dei 5,5 ettari di vigneti, ogni anno si produce un numero massimo di 40.000 bottiglie, di cui circa la metà vini bianchi, l’altra metà rossi. L’altitudine ideale di 500 metri s.l.m. e terreni ben aerati sui declivi ai piedi della Mendola garantiscono vini dal carattere deciso, di gradevole acidità e con buona tenuta all’invecchiamento.
