Descrizione:
Il TOREN Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva è un vino dal colore rosso granato scuro, vigoroso, equilibrato e finemente strutturato. Il suo bouquet complesso stupisce inizialmente per i suoi sentori speziati di tabacco che poi lasciano spazio a sfumature fruttate di ribes nero e mirtillo rosso. Ha un’acidità fresca e decisa, impreziosita da tannini maturi e morbidi che, dopo aver espresso la propria intensità al palato, permangono a lungo nel retrogusto.

Vinificazione:
Il terreno ad alto tenore sabbioso si distingue per l’elevata presenza di ciottoli calcarei. La sabbia fa sì che il terreno si riscaldi velocemente che cede poi alle viti, nelle ore notturne, il caldo accumulato durante il giorno. Le radici arrivano agli strati più profondi, il che favorisce una buona maturazione degli acini. Il terreno calcareo sostiene la formazione di note intense di frutti di bosco.

Piatti di cacciagione, costate e roastbeef, formaggi stagionati.

16 - 18°C.

La Famiglia Tiefenbrunner sente di dovere ad una lunga tradizione vitivinicola un grosso tributo d’impegno e di qualità. Oggi il figlio Christof e sua moglie Sabine reggono con gioia e con rispetto per la tradizione il destino dell’azienda vinicola fondata nel 1848. Tanto in campagna quanto in cantina, i principi cui ci si ispira consistono nella ricerca costante della massima qualità delle uve e nella salvaguardia della tipicità varietale dei vitigni. Conducono direttamente una superficie vitata di 25 ettari. Altri viticoltori dei dintorini dedicano ulteriori 40 ettari di terreno al conferimento di materia prima per la cantina. La produzione annua è in media 750.000 bottiglie, per il 70% di vini bianchi.
