Description:
Ruby red colour with reflections of ripe cherries. The wine develops a delicate, intense and fruity bouquet reminiscent of violets and sour cherries. Dry, spicy and full-bodied on the palate, harmonious, velvety and smooth like its traditional denomination (Marzemino gentile).
Worth knowing: The Trentino red wine Marzemino was also celebrated in the opera "Don Giovanni", a masterpiece by the musician Mozart. Don Giovanni celebrates it in the opera of the same name during the famous banquet scene: "Pour the wine, excellent Marzemino!".

Production area:
From Marzemino grapes grown in the vineyards of Marco Donati di Rovereto in Vallagarina, in the southern part of Trentino. This is the typical growing area of Marzemino Trentino doc. The name "Orme" refers to the proximity of dinosaur footprints that date back to the Jurassic period.
Vinification:
Traditional maceration, temperature controlled fermentation with racking in steel tanks.
Food pairing:
Pairs well with white and red meats, cheeses and charcuterie. It is a sociable, drinkable wine that goes well with dishes that are not enriched by excessive aromas.
Serving temperature:
18 - 20°C.
Ageing potential:
more than 5 years.
