Plamunt - smooth semi-hard cheese made from organic goat milk.
"Plamunt" is a semi-hard cheese made from goat's hay milk from 4 farmers in the Stelvio National Park.
During its approximately two-month maturation on spruce boards, the cheese is turned every other day and washed with a brush and red cultures. Mild in taste with a slight goat aroma and with a slightly creamy cheese batter.

The name "Plamunt" is an old traditional field name in Prad, it describes a flat hilltop at the end of the village towards Stilfserjoch.
Maturing time: 6 - 8 weeks.
