Description: The aroma reminiscent of a plate of dried fruit, candied fruit and plums. Sweet and round taste.
Poli Taiadèa is a liqueur with an old Venetian tradition. The name derives from "taiàre", which in the Venetian language means both "to cut" and "to put together in equal parts".
In fact, Taiadèa is obtained by "blending" grappa and pure alcohol in which cinchona (Cinchona calisaya), a plant native to the Andes from which quinine is extracted, is preserved.
By soaking in the spirit, the wrinkled rind slowly releases its invigorating and beneficial properties, as well as its treasured bittersweet taste.
The aroma of spices and the scent of medicinal herbs remind us of the pure aromas of the natural remedies of the past, made from roots, plants, berries, bark and flowers and preserved in alcohol.
Once a popular remedy against malaria, Taiadèa is now the most typical liquor of Bassano del Grappa.
Poli Taiadèa is a grappa-based liqueur as invigorating as an herbal tea sipped at home on the sofa.
