Description: 
Amarone has a very dark soul with a ruby ​​red color tending to garnet. Velvety fullness on the palate. Incredible variety of fruit flavors, such as plum, cherry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, elderberry, currant. Tertiary notes of tobacco, spices, herbs, pepper, juniper, coffee, black tea, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Each sip brings new flavors and textures. 

Grape varierty: 
Corvinone 34%, Corvina 33%, Rondinella 33% - Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 

Production area: 
Villa Girasole in Marcellise - Veneto. 
The calcareous soil typical of Val Marcellise produces elegant wines, rich in finesse and suitable for long storage. 

Vinification: 
Aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak barrels. 

Food pairing: 
It goes well with beef, pasta dishes, risotto, veal and poultry. 

Serving temperature: 
16 - 18°C.

Ageing potential: 
more than 10 years.

The Marion winery is located in the middle of the unspoilt Marcellise Valley, east of Verona. The corporate philosophy of the winery includes the balance between nature and people. The vineyards - mostly raised in the Guyot system - are home to the classic Valpolicella grape varieties, including Rondinella, Corvina and Croatina. In recent years, however, Cabernet Sauvignon and Teroldego have also been planted. 

The Campedelli family runs the Corte Lavel winery next to the Az. Agr. Marion as a separate company. It also includes the famous Villa Girasole in Marcellise built in 1930 with 11 hectares of vineyards.
