And even the much sought-after Low Carb BBQ sauce does not let these principles slip away: consisting of 46% tomato, it lets its sweetness predominate, surrounded by the flavour of onion skilfully combined with balsamic vinegar. In addition to natural sugars, the sauce is sweetened with erythritol and stevia. Without additional sugars, lactose or gluten, it is an excellent accompaniment to steaks, sausages, marinated meat and chicken wings. Also suitable for vegans!
Ingredients:
Cooked tomatoes 46%, onions 23%, wine vinegar 9%, water, sweetener: erythritol and stevia, apple pectin, salt, flavouring.
Erythritol is a naturally occurring sweetener found in strawberries, mushrooms, cheese and pistachios and is obtained through fermentation. Stevia, on the other hand, is obtained from the plant of the same name and is also a totally natural, calorie-free sweetener, ideal for low-calorie diets.
