Description: Rum Plantation experiences double aging, the first in the Caribbean and the second in the Cognac region of France. In the Caribbean, where the share of angels is high due to the tropical climate, a significant 7%, rum ages in Bourbon barrels (American oak), which give strong notes of vanilla and coconut. After a few years in the Caribbean, the Plantation rum is brought to the castle of Bonbonnet, in France, where it refines in small barrels of Cognac Pierre Ferrand (French oak) that bring delicate tannic hints. This last aging gives that elegance and finish that characterizes all Plantation rums. Extraordinary rum introduced to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Maison Ferrand. It is an assembly of fine rums aged from 12 to 20 years, distilled part in column and part in pot still, all originating in Barbados. Rum that beautifully reflects all the characteristics and nuances of its place of origin. This double ageing prcess brings an incomparable smoothness and fullness to this rum. The intens flavors of vanilla, ripe banana, sugar cane, and roasted coconut are very present and this taste remains for a remarkable length of time.
