Description: 
Fresh guava puree consisting of 90% guava and 10% pure cane sugar. No added colouring agents or preservatives. 

The guava or guava fruit used to produce guava puree is harvested in Madagascar, in the Vakinakaratra region and in South Africa. In fact, these two terroirs offer all the specificities that the guava tree needs to thrive: rich, volcanic soil, drained soil and good sun exposure. Moreover, while the guava tree grows very easily in tropical climates, its cultivation requires a great deal of know-how, particularly because of the fragility of the fruit. The guavas selected by Ponthier ripen on the vine and thus offer a juicy and spicy flesh, a musky fragrance, freshness and tonicity synonymous with quality.

How to use fresh guava puree ? 
All purees are perfect for making mousses, sorbets and ice creams, desserts, cocktails or cool drinks. Suitable for making smoothies and juices. For a healthy fruit snack, we recommend a smoothie with fresh guava and banana puree. Combine yoghurt, ice cubes, guava puree and banana puree or fresh ripe bananas in a blender. Finally blend everything until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.

Ponthier decided to go even further to meet consumer demands and continued its efforts with the creation of the PURE TRACE label, which reinforces traceability by indicating the name of the grower and the place of harvest for 19 flavours. 

And to go one step further, Ponthier is launching the Live Trace project, which allows users to see orchards live via a webcam, accessible by flashing a QR code on the purees' packaging.
