Kölln Crispy Chocolate Oat Muesli
This muesli was the first crunchy muesli in Kölln's range and laid the "foundation stone" for today's crunchy muesli range with its combination of crunchy pieces with cocoa, fine chocolate and hazelnut brittle.
Kölln Crispy Chocolate Brittle Oat Muesli has a whole grain content of 60% and is without artificial flavours, rich in fibre, with Rainforest Alliance-certified cocoa (www.rainforest-alliance.org).
What does the term brittle mean?
The term "crispy" is derived from the French word "croquant" (=crisp pastry). For hazelnut soft brittle, roasted hazelnut pieces are coated with melted sugar. This creates a fine caramel flavour that underlines the nut taste.
Would you like to make your own hazelnut brittle?
If you want to make your own brittle, carefully roast 100 g of hazelnuts in a pan without adding any fat and then leave to cool. Now caramelise 100 g sugar and stir in the nuts. Spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper, allow to set and break into small pieces or chop finely with a large knife.
Ingredients:
Wholemeal oat flakes (54%), sugar, palm oil, wheat flour, wholemeal wheat flakes (5%), glucose fructose syrup, chopped hazelnut kernels, cocoa mass*, cocoa butter*, low-fat cocoa powder*, wholemeal oat flour (1%), caramel syrup, invert sugar syrup, barley malt extract, cooking salt, emulsifier lecithins, natural flavouring (contains milk).
Allergens:
May contain other nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans).

1700 g - 1,7 kg

Koelln - Kölln
The Kölln family has been active in Elmshorn since 1795, and in 1820 the official start of the Peter Kölln company took place with the entry in the commercial register. What began with a horse-drawn 'Göpel' mill developed over the years into an ever larger business. From the beginning, the focus was on oats, and even today Kölln flakes are among the best known branded products in Germany. Later, other products were added: mueslis and cereals and, more recently, vegetable oils and fats.
