It all started in 2017, at the Gompm Alm at 1,800 meters above sea level on Mount Hirzer, above Merano in the municipality of Scena. For over a year they worked on the recipe with the fixed idea of ??creating the first London Dry Gin of South Tyrol made exclusively with organic botanicals from the Alps. From the outset the goal was to obtain a product of the highest quality , using natural and selected ingredients. A Gin with a unique and unmistakable taste. It took a lot of effort, research and determination, in fact, after 26 distillation attempts, what they expected finally came out: Edelschwarz Organic London Dry Gin was born.The name is an acrocimo of two of the 17 botanicals used, Edelweiss (edelweiss) and Schwarzbeere (blueberry) to which are added Juniper, Cranberry, Rosehip, Elderberry, Lemon Balm, Lemon Nettle and other certified organic alpine botanicals. The distillation always takes place in small quantities with a 300 liter Carted-Head Still copper alembic still, and only the noble parts of the product are extracted with craftsmanship. It is then aged for two months, in this way in the Edelschwarz Gin a perfect harmonious balance of the ingredients develops. Subsequently, using pure alpine spring water, London Dry Gin Edelschwarz is brought to an alcoholic degree of 47%, thus obtaining a very pleasant Super Premium Gin, which can also be appreciated when drunk in purity.
