Veltliner: Grüner Veltliner (Green Veltliner) has been cultivated since roman times. It prospers in meager, as well as in mineral-rich soils, but it requires a sunny autumn to complete its ripening and to reach its full flavor potential. In South Tyrol, in the Valle Isarco some winemakers have specialized in the production of Grüner Veltliner. They produce wines with fruity zest with notes of pepper, which smell like wildflowers and meadow herbs. This complex mixture of flavors and scents makes for a really special, interesting distillate from Zu Plun. The pomace for this variety of grappa also comes from Köferer Hof. Stylistics: To start, the fruitiness and floweriness of Gewürztraminer, long lasting, slightly fruity.

Florian Rabanser is a distillation master who lives at the foot of the Dolomites. His spirits, especially the Gin, encapsulates his passion for genuine flavors.
«I decided to devote myself to something that allowed me to spend more time with my family. So I bought this Alpine farmstead, renovated it and 15 years ago I established the distillery. When i was working as a cook, my task was trying to reach a balance between all the different ingredients. And I still do something similar in my new job, so my past and my present have a lot in common, indeed. The “mental taste” of a cook has been very useful to me. Zu Plun is a very locally rooted company, and its products perfectly display it. Rhum and Gin are corked up, only if I am 100% sure of them. I don’t like trite products; they do not express my being. In other words, it is exactly like my handshake: strong and vigorous!.

Die Setmin, in der Geschichte des Piemont, sind die Heiler. Ihre Kräfte bezogen sich sowohl auf Heilung als auch auf magisches Wissen. Die Formel des Mandragola sowie dessen Name wurden uns 1978 von einem Erben eines Setmin aus Valchiusella, einem damals etablierten Apotheker, weitergegeben. Die Formel enthält 15 Kräuter. Flasche zu: 500 ml - 50 cl - 0,5 lt.
