Different mix of Akashi whiskey, fruity, with hints of honey and complex. Tokinoka literally means "the scent of time" in Japanese. This mixed whiskey wants to refer to the old traditions and bring the spirit back to the origins of oriental whiskey. It is no coincidence that the White Oak Distillery in the city of Hyogo was founded in 1888, received Japan's first distillation license, and started producing whiskey in 1919, albeit in small quantities. It was not until 1984 that the actual distillation process began, in which the company built a new plant with a modern unit for malt whiskeys. Previously, all of the whiskey produced was used in a variety of blends known as "white oak". Blended with a very high percentage (75%) of single malt akashi, which is characterized by extreme softness. Bottled at 40% in typical 50cl bottles.
