In this way, extraordinary distillates are created, the pride of an entire territory, which arises primarily from passion, commitment and love for work.The Maison Ferrand cognac from 1840 is up to four and a half years old and is a clear homage to the history of this great distillate. Inspired by the style of the late 19th century fashion, it is a cognac reminiscent of the golden age of cocktails when the recipes by Jerry Thomas, Harry Johnson, Leo Engel and William "The Only William" Schmidt, cognac as the main ingredients contained. Ferrand 1840, created by Alexandre Gabriel with the help of cocktail historian David Wondrich, is a young cognac that is light and lively, but still deep, flavorful and with an alcohol content that is important compared to modern VS cognacs.
