The history of Salumificio Brugnolo, which today boasts absolute leadership in a region as strongly characterised by gastronomy as Veneto, began in 1951, when the founder Mario Brugnolo was only 19 years old but had already been working as a butcher's apprentice for 7 years. Although very young, Mario decided to embark on the adventure of his own business, opened a first meat shop in Peraga di Vigonza, and just 3 years later was already the owner of 2 shops in the city of Padua. Since then, Salumificio Brugnolo has experienced continuous growth. Mario and Mirella (his wife) carry on the business together and with great enthusiasm. In 1975, they opened an artisanal meat processing workshop on the family land and later a new factory that still operates on a continuous cycle today.
