Edelschwarz Cocoa Organic Gin is elaborately distilled in a 300 litre copper pot still and then refined with the "Chuncho bean" from Peru, one of the highest quality and oldest cocoa beans in the world. In harmony with 17 alpine botanicals, it gives Cocoa Gin an unmistakable aroma of dark chocolate (without sugar or colouring) accompanied by notes of mountain herbs and juniper.

It all started in 2017, at the Gompm Alm at 1,800 meters above sea level on Mount Hirzer, above Merano in the municipality of Scena. For over a year they worked on the recipe with the fixed idea of ??creating the first London Dry Gin of South Tyrol made exclusively with organic botanicals from the Alps. From the outset the goal was to obtain a product of the highest quality , using natural and selected ingredients. A Gin with a unique and unmistakable taste. It took a lot of effort, research and determination, in fact, after 26 distillation attempts, what they expected finally came out: Edelschwarz Organic London Dry Gin was born.The name is an acrocimo of two of the 17 botanicals used, Edelweiss (edelweiss) and Schwarzbeere (blueberry)
