Description:
The vast majority of distilleries produce a variety of white rums. Plantation wanted to offer its customers a white rum that could be easily distinguished from others by using both aged and unaged rums and by exploiting Maison Ferrand's exceptional talent for blending cognacs. Rum distilled one part pot still and one part column still in Barbados Aged for two years in the Caribbean and one year in France. Plantation 3 Stars is a selection of rums from three islands: Trinidad (two to three year old rums), Barbados (unaged rums) and Jamaica (10 year old rums distilled in pot stills). Three different territories expressing unique characteristics and personalities that combine to create a bouquet of great elegance and finesse. Barbados rum gives balance, Trinidad rum elegance and Jamaica rum intensity and power. Filtration is carried out according to the Pierre Ferrand method through which the tannins are removed while retaining all the aromatic scents.
