The Salmon of the Dolomites
Smoking salmon over 1,200 meters above sea level sounds quite adventurous. A fish that lives in the depths of the sea meets the highest peaks of the Dolomites. A step away from heaven where authenticity and craftsmanship are still of great importance. It all began with a few meters of fishing line in his youth on the banks of the Neckar. "If you live close to the water, this charm is inevitable", remembers founder Benedikt Röser, recalling the past. The passion for fishing has accompanied him since childhood. The fly-fishing enthusiasm he discovered on several visits to Norway eventually led him to salmon. And with this fish, salmon, which is now realizing his lifelong dream, together with his family, in the heart of the Dolomites.
