1956 - Hubert Deimel founded the company under the name 'Hubert Deimel Haushaltwarenfabrik'.
The 'Famos' potato peeler is produced and sold, which later becomes the company name, Famos GmbH, for a long time.
2019 - New corporate design with the claim 'WESTMARK MACH'S EINFACH! Relaunch of the packaging and development of the new 'Westmark' brand and the 'Monopol Edition' lines for top-quality gourmet utensils, such as corkscrews and nutcrackers, and 'Saleen Edition' for baskets and placemats.
The company is based in Lennestadt-Elspe in the beautiful Sauerland region of Germany. This is where most of the production, the entire warehouse and administration are located. Another, smaller production unit is located in Wittelsberg (near Marburg).
