Winery Untermoserhof
The Untermoserhof is idyllically situated amidst the vineyards in the wine village of St. Magdalena near Bolzano. The winery was first mentioned in writing in 1630 and is currently run by the fourth generation of the Ramoser family.
The terroir in St. Magdalena is synonymous with the St. Magdalener classic (Vernatsch) and also ideal location for the Lagrein variety, which are consequently the two main varieties. In addition to the various plots on the St. Magdalener hill, vineyards are also cultivated in Frangart (Eppan) and Kaltern, where the vines are planted for Chardonnay, Merlot and some Cabernet Franc.
