Platterhof Honey

The Platterhof is located in Marlengo, above the Merano health resort.
Originally the farm was only involved in the production of apples.
Twenty-five years ago, however, beekeeping turned from hobby into a real profession.
Thanks to the many years of experience gained by the owners of the farm, bees are bred with natural methods in wooden shelters, using only biological practices to ensure optimal health of the colonies.
In this way, the company is able to produce healthy and natural honey.
The apiaries are expertly placed in various areas and at different altitudes in Marlengo, Val Venosta and Val Passiria, so as to obtain a great variety of honeys.
