His passion for Riesling takes Martin Hofstätter across the borders to the German wine-growing region of Mosel. In 2014, he seized the opportunity to revive the traditional Dr Fischer winery. Riesling grows here in the best sites. The typical slate soils and the cool microclimate offer ideal conditions for clearly structured and delicately fruity wines with a special minerality. In 2022, he will complement the range with expressive wines from Rheinhessen, the sun-kissed wine-growing region on the Rhine.
