In 2005 the Bonnie family, who also own the Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere and Chateau Gazin-Rocquencourt, decided to broaden their horizons by purchasing 130 hectares in the prestigious Valle de Uco.

The Valle de Uco is an ideal location for producing high quality wines. Situated at an altitude between 1,000 and 1,200 metres above sea level, it has an arid climate, with annual rainfall between 200 and 300 mm and humidity ranging from 40% to 60%. Furthermore, the significant temperature fluctuations between day and night favour the creation of aromatic wines with a good concentration of noble tannins.

As in all the Bonnie family's estates, respect for nature is paramount and the vines are tended in sustainable agriculture without the use of herbicides and with the exclusive use of natural fertiliser. Salud!
