Bertani Winery
Since 1857, the great wines of Verona have offered the unmistakable Bertani style, a flavor and a tradition that originate from an authentic wine-growing vocation rooted in the territory. In Casa Bertani, for 150 years, respect for tradition and a modern vision of the market have coexisted, from which the continuous experimentation combined with the enhancement of ancient techniques, vines and styles derives. Today Bertani has about 200 hectares of vineyards in all the main Veronese wine-growing areas. Of great value in particular is the splendid eighteenth-century estate of Novare, immersed in the vineyards of the classic Valpolicella and cradle of Amarone Bertani. In Valpantena, the only official cru of Valpolicella, the original viticultural and production center of the company is still operational, where several vintages of Amarone are preserved and where Secco Bertani is still produced, the first wine created since the end of the 1800s.
