The winery is located in the middle of a coniferous and deciduous forest on the Marlinger Berg. From 550 metres above sea level, you have a wonderful panoramic view of the Merano region. We started growing wine in 2007, guided by the idea of natural, organic and sustainable farming with soil-conserving cultivation.
The soil is stony and interspersed with loamy earth. The two typical PIWI varieties Bronner and Solaris were planted. These grape varieties belong to the fungus-resistant grape varieties and are ideal for natural cultivation. The combination of limited sunlight and the ventilation of the vines by the mild morning breezes and the downdraughts that follow in the evening give the grapes a special character.
